Organic Farm and Garden Tours

Highlighting Organic Growers’ Efforts

Each year COG OSO likes to highlight the creative efforts of local organic growers by organizing tours to farms and gardens in the region.  These casual events are lots of fun – come on out and make new friends, learn a little, and enjoy the beauty that comes from working the land organically.  There is no set admission fee; donations to support COG OSO educational programming are encouraged.

July 27, 2025 Farrellton, QC Area Tours Report

On Sunday, July 27th, 2025, twenty interested individuals braved the heat to visit three certified organic farms in the Outaouais, part of the area covered by COG-OSO. The tours were a great success, in spite of the excessively hot weather. COG-OSO thanks the three hosts for their patience in answering so many questions, and the tour participants for being so brave as to venture out on such a hot day!
