Canadian Organic Growers
Each year COG OSO likes to highlight the creative efforts of local organic growers by organizing tours to farms and gardens in the region. These casual events are lots of fun – come on out and make new friends, learn a little, and enjoy the beauty that comes from working the land organically. There is no set admission fee; donations to support COG OSO educational programming are encouraged.
The second farm tour of the year organised by COG-OSO was held on Sunday, September 14th, in the Almonte area. A lively group of about 20 people gathered to visit the three farms in the program on a perfect sunny and warm late summer day.
