2025 Organic Farm and Garden Tours Invitation

Each year COG OSO likes to highlight the creative efforts of local organic growers by organizing tours to farms and gardens in the region. These casual events are lots of fun – come on out and make new friends, learn a little, and enjoy the beauty that comes from working the land organically.

There is no set admission fee; donations to support COG OSO educational programming are encouraged. This summer COG OSO is bringing you two days of fascinating farm tours:

On Sunday, July 27th, we’ll be visiting three certified organic farms near Farrellton, QC: Rock’s End Farm/Ferme Rock’s End, home of regeneratively raised meats and wool; Champignon Le Coprin, producer of cultivated and wild-harvested mushrooms; and Ferme Northslope Farm, grower of haskaps and blueberries.

Then, on Sunday, September 14th, we’ll be touring three farms near Almonte, ON. These include Divine Colour Acres, a micro permaculture flower farm; Community Compost Composers, a fungal-dominant compost producer; and Indian Creek Orchard Gardens, which features agroforestry amid organic vegetables.
